Helpful Resources for Pet Owners
Dog poop isn’t just gross—it’s a health hazard. Leaving waste in your yard can lead to bacteria and parasites that are harmful to pets, people, and even your grass. Over time, it can damage your lawn, attract pests, and cause unpleasant odors that linger long after the piles are gone.
If you live in a neighborhood with a homeowners’ association (HOA), routine cleanup may also be required to stay in compliance and avoid fines. With Savy Poop Pickup, you can check that box easily—and enjoy a cleaner, safer yard all year long.
Our standard yard size is ⅛ acre, or about 5,445 square feet.
That’s roughly the size of an NBA basketball court—yep, the kind you see on TV!
To help you visualize it better, ⅛ acre is comparable to:
🏀 1 full-size NBA basketball court
🏈 About 1/10 of a football field
⚾ Slightly larger than the infield of a baseball diamond
🎾 About 2 tennis courts
🥒 Roughly 3 pickleball courts
If your yard is bigger, no worries—we adjust pricing based on every ¼-acre increment (which equals about one extra dog).
