No contracts here! At Savy Poop Pickup, we believe in flexibility. While we have a service agreement to outline our access and expectations, you’re free to cancel anytime with just 48 hours’ notice.
For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that pets be kept indoors during your scheduled visit. This helps our technicians work efficiently without distractions. If your dog is friendly and you’d like us to meet them first, feel free to introduce us before your first cleanup.
Not at all! As long as we have clear access and your pets are secured, you don’t need to be home. We’ll even send you a photo after each visit to confirm the gate is secure.
If we’re unable to access the yard — due to locked gates, blocked entry, or pets being outside — we’ll notify you and reschedule. Repeated access issues may result in a service fee.

Our standard yard size is ⅛ acre, or about 5,445 square feet.
That’s roughly the size of 30 side-by-side parking spots. Think of a small-to-medium parking lot — that’s what we consider a standard yard.

No problem! While our pricing is based on yard size, we understand not every dog uses the whole property. If the pet waste is confined to a smaller, standard-sized area (around ⅛ acre), we’ll base your pricing on the actual scooping zone, not the full lot. Just let us know during sign-up or leave a note in your client portal, and we’ll confirm during the first visit.
We scoop all accessible areas of your yard—front, back, and sides. If you’d like us to check flower beds or other specific spots, just let us know in advance. We scoop only what we can see, so if waste is hidden under leaves, tall grass, snow, or debris, it may be missed. If any area is blocked, locked, or unsafe to enter, we’ll clean only the portions we can safely access. To help us provide the most thorough cleanup possible, please keep the yard maintained and clear of heavy coverage.
An initial cleanup is the first service visit for new recurring customers. It brings your yard up to standard so we can maintain it moving forward. The initial cleanup is included in your first invoice and covers up to 60 minutes of scooping. If extra time is needed, it’s billed at $15 per 15 minutes.
A one-time cleanup is for customers who don’t want recurring service—just a single visit. Pricing is based on yard size, pet count, and how long it’s been since the last cleanup. One-time cleanups start at $90 and increase depending on buildup.

Scheduling & Changes
Easy! Pause or cancel anytime through your client portal or by emailing us. Just give us at least 48 hours’ notice before your next scheduled visit to avoid charges.
We scoop year-round, including in light rain. If there’s heavy snow, storms, or unsafe conditions, we’ll skip the visit and scoop double next time. Please keep pathways clear so we can access your yard safely.

Yes. Larger yards = more poop to scoop! We adjust pricing based on yard size in ¼-acre increments. Our standard pricing is based on a typical ⅛-acre yard, which covers most residential homes.
